Pizza in vending machines

There's a new way to get your Pizza. Now in some places there will be pizza sold in vending machines. I'm not sure how this idea will do. If the pizza is hot and good then it may do well. But, I just don't see how the ingredients could really be all that fresh????

All I have to say is "ewwwww…". That is not how I'd like to have my pizza. I'm a bit wary of how decent it actually is. On the other hand, these seem to be getting deployed elsewhere and doing well, so maybe I'm a bit quick to judge.

But I also don't get much food from vending machines to begin with.

Vending Machine food works because they're pre-packaged and can sit around for a while without being spoiled.

I can't imagine pizza ingredients going too long without getting ruined. But hey, I'm sure it'll be a hit with the frat boys.

I think it's pretty gutsy of them to try this. I don't find this appealing at all.

It's kind of weird that the vending machine is actually going to assemble the pizza from ingredients and cook it on demand. I suppose it will make for a fresher alternative to what most vending machines carry. On the other hand, usually when someone uses a vending machine that means they don't want to wait for their food. Even if it's only a couple of minutes, this isn't going to work so well if you've got five complete strangers wanting pizzas from the machine at the same time.
