Pigs find WW2 weapon

Postby Silver_Surfer1 » Sat May 1, '10, 7:54 pm

Pigs in Germany found a World War II weapon while digging for food:

Seems these types of war weapons finds are quite common over there.

Those pigs are lucky it didn't blow up or something.

Yeah, there's probably all kinds of leftovers from the war in the European countries. They were covered with fighting back in the day. In any big military conflict today, there would be a closer eye kept on weapons. People were a little too busy to do a proper clean up of the whole area back then, though.

Reminds me of the the Native arrow heads people find in the USA.
How can you hope to defeat me, if you're not wearing any pants?

Yep, it's kind of similar. I found a few arrow heads in my back yard when I was kid. It always made me wonder if someone used to live there before the US colonies were founded.

I wonder if there are mines left in Miami. CSI Miami made a reference to them but I wasn't sure if the writers were using fact or fiction.

There's TONS of land mines and such things still left in other war regions of the world, such as Vietnam, Cambodia other places where the Vietnam War was fought. Probably some left in Korea, too.

Also, some other things that are " lost " right here in the good ole USA, including a nuclear bomb:
