Actualy it's a lot easier than you think. All I did was edit a few things on Gryz. You can probobly do a lot more than you think you can do. You could talk with THP and see what you can do to help.

The Buck animation looks good. I'd say touch up some of the shading where it's inconsistant (i.e., along the sleeves there's no outline) and where the black stands out (on the hat, maybe make the black lines on the inner part of the hat be a dark red?), and it should be fine.

Also, I noticed on the 2nd Buck animation, there's green appearing between the hat and gun when the single gun is raised the first time.

...and I'm hoping that I'm not coming off as too nitpicky here, but I feel that any Phantasy Star fangame deserves attention when it comes to every small detail. :idea:

No your not being nitpicky, this is the type of Advice were after.

My opinions on the buck animation is.... it needs a final shade of darker colour.
I like the new attack also Andy looks extreme in a good way.
The gravity of when buck aims his gun would mean the grys part would go back to being low again, good stuf though.

I will just say that my intentions are to have the idle pictures animated.
So for example when your choosing your command the characters will have active breathing and stances that show this to give it that extra feel of realism this is gonna take a little work but i should have it done later.

Below is a little example that isnt at all finished to give you an idea what i mean.

That will be a nice touch! I couldn't believe that even the official remakes of PSI and PSII didn't do something like that.
