Chapter 8 - Sweet Dreams

It was the same dream he has been having recently. Sinah is standing in front of someone, he's holding a knife with his only good arm. His other arm is completely useless. There is a hole in it, the blood flowing freely out of it and down his arm onto his hand, dripping off his fingertips onto the sapphire colored floor. The injury above his left eye makes it hard to see while the blood running from atop his head runs into his other eye.

He raises his knife hand in front of him, staring at the dark figure right in front of him who is laughing. The figure charges, but Sinah stands his ground. Looking around, at the slaughter around him, he notices at least two score of men and woman lay in a bloody mess. The only person left alive is behind him. All that mattered is that he protect this person. The figure swung an arm, speeding towards Sinah. Sinah swung his knife at the arm. He stopped. Looking down, All Sinah could see is an arm in his chest.

---

Sinah awoke, bolting up. He was sweating. That was the farthest his dream ever went. Usually it only lasted to the part of the figure standing before him laughing. He shook his head. He needed some air. That's when he realized the Landrover stopped moving, in fact, nobody was even in the Landrover.

It was quite strange really. Sinah didn't expect this. Perhaps he was still dreaming? Well, either way, Sinah decided that he needed some air. Probably wouldn't be a good idea to leave though without equipping himself, just in case there was something outside waiting for him. With that, he looked around and found his standard issue Hunter Knives.

He was about to leave the Land Rover but stopped. There was this feeling in his gut telling him not to leave the vehicle. He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath.

Sinah didn't know what to do, something like this has never happened before. He took another breath. If he was going to do it, he may as well do it right. Readying a weapon in his left hand, Sinah slowly put his ear to the door. He heard nothing. "As to be expected with a big armored vehicle," he mumbled to himself.

He made his way to the cockpit. Looking out the windshield, he didn't see much. Just Motavia field in a sunset scenery. He sighed. Guess I got no choice, he thought to himself.

He made his way back to the end of the landrover. He pushed the conveniently labeled "open/close" switch and the door began to open slowly. He shot to his stomach on the floor as the door slowly made it's way down. Slowly, but surely, an image began to appear before him. It was a town. Better yet, it was Krup!
