One of the most remarkable features of Phantasy Star is the first person dungeon exploration. Created in a time when the contemporary games were using exclusively top down views, like those Phantasy Star itself employs outside of dungeons, this is among the qualities set the game apart from others and ensured Phantasy Star a place in gaming history. In order to fit more content on the small memory resources of the Master System cartridge, the developers designed a graphic system that allowed them reuse one common set of designs for every dungeon. The various dungeons throughout the game all referenced those patterns, changing the colors for variety. This particular dungeon employed a mixture of light colors. The ceiling and floor are pinkish, while the walls are more of a beige color.

Hmm, another bright color for a dungeon. Goodness, how many dungeons are there. We've already seen two shades of blue, one of green, yellow, and now pink. As I've said before, it was a lot of very colorful dungeons. :lol:

Bumping up this former Image Of the Day!

This time it is a Pink dungeon. But it has some yellow in it also or that could just be light shining off the walls.

The combination of both pink and yellow is not too bad ! (especially on a sand and sunny planet like Motavia, even if there it's underground !).
