Phantasy Star: Pages 18 & 19

In 1997, the rare Mega Drive release of Phantasy Star appeared in an eBay auction. At the time, very little information regarding Japanese exclusive releases in the series, such as this game, could be found on the internet. Many people doubted the authenticity of the game, believing it had been released only on the Master System. To quell those doubts, the seller posted scans from the Mega Drive manual, which is different from that of other releases. Since this version of the manual is so rare, those scans have been archived here.

On these pages, the Algo Solar System is introduced to the reader. Page #18 features a map of the system's orbital paths and a partial map of planet Palma. Page #19 includes partial maps of Motavia and Dezoris.

Very nice manual, as was the original one ! This Magadrive version of the first PS, I hope to have one one day ! I already have the three others on my megadrive (the japanese versions) but not this one !

Interesting manual! I suppose it was nice for fans of the game to get new art rather than a copy of the original manual.
