Phantasy Star: Noah

This is Noah, the first Esper introduced during the course of the Phantasy Star series. Espers are powerful wizards who train to use their magical abilities responsibly. When we first meet Noah, he is undergoing such training himself. Secluded away in a maze like cave, Noah lives like a hermit to have no interruptions to his mediations. When Alis tracks him down, he rudely rebuffs her at first. Only when presented with a letter from Motavia's governor will he listen to the heroine's tale of woe.

He was an Esper when Espers didn´t exist in Algol.

Looking at his image, it is hard to understand how people confused him for a woman, despite he being named as such as a mistranslation. But maybe I did back them at first, for I was not accustomed to the androgenous antics of many Japanese manga/anime characters.
