Phantasy Star: Lutz Casts Thunder

While facing down a slime in a narrow dungeon hall, Lutz chooses to attack it with the Thunder spell. His magic lighting will no doubt make short work of this creature. This image comes from the second of four pages listing the game's spells in the Japanese Master System instruction manual for Phantasy Star. It is page #34.

I wonder what creature is this ... It like a blob in PSIV....

I always thought it was one of the slime monsters found in early dungeons. They're usually more on the ground, but maybe this is one in the middle of a jump.

I never heard that thing can jump xD
