Phantasy Star IV: The Hatch Opens

As the Landale hovers high above Chaz and Rune, Rika opens a hatch to peer down at the pair. The whipping wind tugs at her cape and makes her hair begin to float up. Alas, it seems to have also blown her face right off.

But they seem to do that with many cartoons if the character is far away they make them faceless all together. Kinda crazy but I guess trying to squash the face on such as small head would look kinda akward too.

True, but perhaps they could've added two black specs for the eyes? Ah well, sometimes a sandblasted face is the best face

You know, we all like to fun of the horrid quality of the pirate images, but you gotta admit, some of the images from the actual game are amusing too. Like these faceless distant ghouls. Poor Rika. Guess getting rid of the Profound Darkness didn't completely eliminate all the undead in Algo.

Wow, that sure is a small image. I'm surprised they got as much detail into it as they did. She does need a face, though.

Maybe it's just that : Rudy/Chaz has stolen her eyes just to make her stay with him !
