Phantasy Star: Fringes of Algo

As we've seen before, Xing Zhan Qing Yuan is different from some of the other pirate games. It has a different title screen, more cutscenes, and other differences. One of those is a new introduction sequence that replaces the Phantasy Star IV style scroll down before the title screen. This sequence seems to be showing a brief history of Algo, beginning with a look at the three main planets of the system.

This scene is not too bad, but there are some things that are definitely off about it. The middle planet definitely seems too compressed, looking more like an eggshell than a planet. The purple seems an odd color choice, too, but perhaps that is a way to show shadows.

That's not too bad. Though I think that it's the Yellow/Green on the middle planet that looks odd to me, not the Purple. And you are right, though, it does look too compressed.
