As Chaz tells Le Roof he wants no part of the Great Light's mission, Rika stands nearby and listens. She seems quite concerned as he begins his speech. I think she must have foreseen his reaction. At this point they are probably very close friends already.

I would agree she is concerned you can tell Rika is basically the only character who really, really, really cares for Chaz she worries about him so much and is always around him much more than the other characters.
