Phantasy Star IV Pirate Versions : Wai Xing Zhan Shi Title

This is the title screen from Wai Xing Zhan Shi, one of the pirate versions of Phantasy Star IV. Each version has a different title screen with different characters for the names. This version's title screen is very similar to that of another, Xing Ji Zheng Ba, with the major difference being the logo. It looks a lot like the real Phantasy Star IV's title screen as well, just mirrored and reduced in quality.

The chinese do some wierd things, I've played this as well as the Chrono Trigger one they made. These games are just off on so many levels

Here's some screenshots I have taken of the in game playability. It isn't that great of a pirate and I agree with Kaloes they were off on so many things. Not to mention the character portraits scare me especially Alys they needed some better animators and graphic designers. But being a pirate nes game they would never have worried about it I guess.

A difference with my rom is that Alys is seen walking around with chaz but in other roms its just Chaz by himself kind strange also if chaz dies you can still move cause you got Alys but in the other rom your just dead.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to have to try that out to get more scenes from it. Kind of weird that they made so many different versions of it.

It is wierd they made like minor changes and re-realesed the games guess you could say they "attempted" updating the rom. Also Rune is physically missing in my rom he joins my party but I never see him follw me around kind of like Alys in your rom I guess.
