Phantasy Star IV Pirate Versions : Portrait - Rune

The heir to the legendary spell slinger returns in Wai Xing Zhan Shi. Once again, Chaz and Alys find him in the ruins of Molcum after visiting Zema. He joins at level 17, making him far more powerful than either of those two. He can score a one hit KO on any monster in the area, most of which can do the same to Chaz. All in all the picture is not too bad and the battle prowess Rune displays is a life saver.

Dang, he is as hawt as everrrr. He has a bit of a crazy look in his eyes, though...

Well, trying to redraw 16-bit Genesis graphics into 8-bit NES ones isn't the easiest job in the world. Considering you're seriously limited in the number of colors you can have in a sprite, and only have 53 colors to work with.

That's a good point, but I betcha I can do it.

True, though I'm sure I cleared up what I meant over in my Sprite Artwork thread.

Interesting pic. Facial expressions are kinda wild, but love the hair.

This portrait is much more decent then say Alys and Chaz. But he kinda looks like his face was streched oh, well a good a atempt for a pirate game designer I guess. Still Gryz looks the best so far.
