Phantasy Star IV Pirate Versions: Catching Up

After taking out the boss of the Bio-Plant, Alys, Chaz, and Gryz catch up to Holt. He has reached the core of the facility, where the computer resides. This computer does not appear to be sentient like Seed. I'm unsure if it speaks to the party, thanks to a lack of any visual indication. I can't read this stuff though, so maybe it is just in the text.

They really seem to have put a lot more effort into rendering this one NPC than they have any of the major characters, haven't they?
