This picture of Nei graces the rear cover of Japan's PSII box. Too bad she couldn't use a huge gun like that in the game, huh? I doubt those boots would be practical for an agile claw user, either.

I've seen this image around the internet, and several others of all the Numan characters wearing those high heel boots. And I always did wonder 'Isn't that a bit impractical if you rely on agility and claws?'

I'd love to get my hands on that collection for the saturn. Too bad I don't have enough to shell out and since it's in japanese I would need to have the strat guides nearby to remind myself of what is what. Although I hear all the extras are well worth it.

If you ask me, that whole outfit is "impractical" to say the least. I mean come on, what person really goes around wearing high heel boots like that and such a skimpy outfit - if she were in cold weather, she'd freeze to death!

This is true. I always did wonder how Rika could trek all over Dezolis without at least getting frostbite.

Didn't you know? Oh my, you didn't! You never heard of the Phantasy Star Chronicles? You know, where while the game is going theres a secret anime scene going on during the game where when Chaz and group arrive on Dezolis when they wander into the harsh blizzard of Dezolis she jumps Chaz from behind and steals his jacket right from under his armor. Rune gives a slight chuckle and Rika turns ever slightly with such evil in her eyes it would scare even the Profound Darkness herself. The screen pans upwards towards the sky, coming back down moments later to reveal Rika is wrapped in Runes cloak while the group is following behind, Chaz shaking and Rune has huge knots and a bandaid on his head.

But then how come in all the cutscenes in the game she's still wearing nothing but that skimpy bathing suit and her armor?
