As Chaz moves to return to the Landale, quickly followed by Rika and Wren, Rune exclaims "There is no one single truth..." Hearing Le Roof's explanations of the Profound Darkness, Dark Force, and the Great Light must have had a unique impact on the fifth Lutz. For five lifetimes, the Lutzs protected Algo, fighting Dark Force and their minions. Lutz has been involved in this struggle for so long, but did any of them truly know what they were fighting until this moment? Rune seems to have been completely in the dark about the true nature of the Profound Darkness until now. I have to wonder what was going through his head as Le Roof spoke.

I dare say he was trying to grasp that Dark Force's destructive powers were nothing to that of the Profound Darkness and that it was controlling Dark Force all these centuries it was behind everything right from Alis and her pals defeating Lashiec.
