Phantasy Star IV: You silly!

Chaz has just realized that the last of his friends, Rune, is leaving. Even Rune believes they will never meet again. As that sinks in, Chaz must have some tears in his eyes, because Rune admonishes him, "You silly! Don't cry... You can live now without anyone else's help..." I suppose Rune knows that Chaz is much stronger and mature than he was at the start of the trip.

I think the end is one of the scenes that for me, redeems Rune for all the jerkish things he had done/said. It also redeems Chaz and how annoying he had been because you know he IS much more mature.

This also reminds me of the scene where Luke stands on the ledge in Tatooine and looks at his destiny. I think in a sense Chaz is seeing his destiny as Rune is leaving.

Bumping up this former Image Of The Day!

It seems Rune and Chaz have both changed since they began their journey.

Everybody in the great PSIV team has changed, and surely for the better !

Chaz sad to leave his friends.

Everybody else would have been so sad !
