Phantasy Star: Fringes of Algo

Meet Rika, the mysterious girl who resides in Birth Valley. The caverns of Birth Valley hide an ancient complex called the Bio-plant, which was built by the advanced Palman civilization that once existed on Motavia. That civilization fell apart one thousand years before Rika's time, but some of the technology endured in secret facilities like the Bio-plant. The artificial intelligence of the plant spent many years continuing genetic research began by the Palmans before the fall of civilization. Rika is the culmination of that research: an artificially grown girl who carries genetic traits that will allow the remaining Palmans to endure the harsh future of Motavia.
