Overcome with emotion, Rika's eyes are beginning to tear up. She has chosen to leave behind the technologically advanced world of Zelan and Seed. Instead she will live among the people of Algo, sharing their hopes and hardships. This is truly what she was meant to do with her life.

She's an emotionaly strong character. Thats one major reason I like her. She is able to cope with almost any changes and rarely complains.

Yeah, what Lucas said. I liked the ending sequence, for the most part, and Rika's role in it is one reason.

I agree with Lucas. It's nice to see that she grows up as the story moves forward. Kinda sems like they gave Rika what Nei would've gone through if she didn't die.
