This spooky looking citadel stands north of the quicksand field near the Motavia village Mile. It suddenly appeared one day, as if grown from nothing overnight. Indeed, the insides of the fortress appear to be a mass of twisting, intertwined plant life. Situated on top of Nurvus, the nervous system of Motavia's remaining climate control systems, the fortress provides an imposing power base for Zio, the black magician, and his armies. It is those armies that are responsible for the destruction of several towns in the area.
