Phantasy Star IV Ending - Question

Why was Rika originally going to leave Motavia with Wren and Demi, before jumping out of the jet and landing in Chaz's arms? I never figured that one out.

I think because the only "home" she had to speak of was originally with Seed. Since Seed was destroyed, her next closest connection was with Wren and Demi.

Wren was one of Rika's "teachers", whom she communicated with while living with SEED in the bio-plant. To her, Wren was the closest thing to family after SEED self-destructed.

In that case, dang that Chaz for not speaking up earlier! Almost lost yourself a beautiful Numan you did!
