Intro - Rolf's Nightmare

Postby Thoul » Sun Mar 9, '08, 8:08 am

Long ago, the Algo system was threatened by a demonic monster called Dark Falz until a brave young woman took up the sword to free the people from fear. Each night, Rolf revisits this battle in his nightmares. He feels the fear and sadness of the people in those days, but is unable to do anything.

What were they thinking when they called him Falz? I mean, how is that force in even the slightest?
Everything has a pattern. Something set. Even random things. They aren't random at all, its complex mathematics. The trick is to find the pattern. Then you can exploit it.

People think things have a certain end. Taxes. Work. Due dates don't really exist. Trust me. When you put a band of world scholars in the same room, and set them on talking about anything, the most interesting topics come up. The existence of negative time. The probability of "random occurrence". The government's involvement in the media. And falsified due dates. They aren't real, trust me....

It's short for Dark Phallus, it was shorten for space. I'm guessing it was kept that way in PSO as an homage to the original.

That's kind of ironic. They use "Ph" instead of "F" (Phantasy vs Fantasy) in the game's name and the final boss' name, but then the boss winds up getting changed to using an F. It's a miracle that we didn't get "Fantasy Star."

That is an interesting fact regarding the [Ph]antasy versus the [F]antasy, etc.

Nightmares are no fun and Rolf's dreams sound exhaustive to say the least. It would be awful experiencing this night after night.

I used to have a recurring nightmare very often but haven't had it in a long time and am so relieved of that. Anyone else here ever have nightmares? Reading this post again reminded me of how sometimes dreams are no fun.

Yes, very interesting PHact ( :D ) about the PH/F ! And hopefully, the name was not Fantasy Star !
The translation of the Falz is hard because the japanese term isn't very clear from the origin ! So... but Falz or Phallus or Force, the boss is the same so it's a great name !
(And what about Lutz/ Noah ? ^^)

About nightmres, as for me, I didn't have one for a very very long time and that is great !
