Phantasy Star: Fringes of Algo

At the top of Zio's towering fortress, our brave band of heroes confronted the evil magician. A very one sided battle followed, ending when Zio pulled a move that seemed like something out of Ghostbusters. A long black tendril of oozing slime shot forth from the wizard's spell, striking Alys Brangwin in the chest. This foul substance immediately made her very ill. After retreating from the tower, the group took Alys to Hahn's home town of Krup. Here we can see Alys lying restless in bed as her body attempts to resist the corrupting power of Zio's concentrated Black Energy Wave. Her fever raises her temperature so much that she even sweats as she lies there in pain.
