After Chaz has caught Rika, ending her jump down from the Landale, the scene fades from a white background into a cloudy sky. After several scenes with the white background, this symbolizes the couple once more becoming aware of the world around them. And make no mistake: they are definitely a couple now. For the remainder of the game, they are never shown apart.

Not exactly sure what "couple" means here. What kind of couple? A fighting team or a romantic team, or both?
