When Hahn, Alys, and Chaz arrive in Zema, they find the people of the town and the Academy research team have all been petrified by an ancient magic curse. Alys remembers having heard of a medicine that can cure this condition long ago in a native Motavian village. On learning that the village in Molcum, Hahn is eager to set out for it in search of the medicine, Alshline. Alys quickly stops him and offers a deal - just 500 Meseta for the pair of Hunters to accompany Hahn to the village! The poor fellow's wallet is going to be bone dry very soon at this rate.
