Shuttle Damage

Chaos Sorcerer 0, Protectors 1. The stowaway on the Nurvus shuttle has been defeated, but the battle against him has caused considerable damage. A corridor shown before the conflict is now seen filled with sparks and fire from systems that took a significant hit.

I could usually defeat that Chaos Sorcerer in less than two full turns, and usually without using any terribly powerful attacks; more often than not, I'd just have Rune defend. So I always thought to myself "where did that damage come from?"
Last finished Pokémon game: Shield
Other games: Skyrim Special Edition (Switch), Spyro Reignited Trilogy (Switch & PS4), Okami (Switch & PS4)
Other gaming goals: completing a Living Pokedex (minus some event Pokes) and going through at least 1 game per generation

It doesn't make any sense really. I can take him fairly quickly with just physical attacking, not even using any techs or skills. I guess Rune secretly gets in a few techs or a Tandle when we're not looking.

I thought that he did it BEFORE they found him, otherwise how would the systems know he's a threat?
Everything has a pattern. Something set. Even random things. They aren't random at all, its complex mathematics. The trick is to find the pattern. Then you can exploit it.
People think things have a certain end. Taxes. Work. Due dates don't really exist. Trust me. When you put a band of world scholars in the same room, and set them on talking about anything, the most interesting topics come up. The existence of negative time. The probability of "random occurrence". The government's involvement in the media. And falsified due dates. They aren't real, trust me....
