The Marauder, or Dark Marauder as he is called internally by Phantasy Star: Deluxe Edition, is a fearsome foe. He carries a wicked pole axe and wears a caped suit of armor, both of which are longer and more menacing than in his original Phantasy Star appearance. Throw in the deadly Thunder spell that can strike every member of Alis' company and you have a recipe for disaster in any encounter. Fortunately, they have fewer hit points than their equally deadly cousins, the mostly pink shaded Reapers.
