Toyo Ozaki's drawings of Rappies tend to be very different from the creatures seen in the games. Instead of the innocent birds that resemble chickens with long antennae, we have this. The Rappy here is short and stubby, with tiny antennae and a decidedly unfriendly expression. It lacks a great deal of the cuteness often ascribed to the birds.

This Rappy makes me smile for some reason even though he looks very unfriendly. A nice drawing by Toyo Ozaki!
