This drawing from Toyo Ozaki may be the only full color representations of Orakio and Rulakir ever produced. These are the brothers who fought in the devastating war that rocked the Alisa III one thousand years before the events of Phantasy Star III. Rulakir is the blond with the strange mark on his forehead. Perhaps this is a symbol of the evils that would eventually corrupt the man and keep him alive long after Orakio's death. Orakio's design slightly reminds of Rolf, the hero of Phantasy Star II, thanks to the blue headband, blue clothes, and hint of white armor.

There's one more full color pic of Orakio that I know of. Xellos took a picture of it when he shared the non-diet version of Toyo's unofficial character book late last year. It's really good, and between this picture and the one from the character book, it confirms Orakio has dark green hair. I would never have guessed otherwise, because the only artwork of him in the game is that one picture of him staring at Laya on the battlefield, which is in sepia. I always thought he had brown hair!

I also prefer this version of Rulakir, with the long hair. Am I imagining that he had a crew cut in the game, or was it just pulled back really tightly and we couldn't see the rest of it?

Orakia definitely looks like a green-haired Rolf here, which is a-ok in my book.

I'm told the diet version doesn't have the color picture of Orakio swinging his sword. It takes up the whole page, and it's rather awesome. If you do have the picture, I demand you scan it! NAO!

I do have both editions :p
As for the scan, if it is possible without ruining it, you will have it.
