Phantasy Star III: Layan Symbol

This is the symbol of the Layan faction found aboard the Alisa III. You can always tell if a city with a castle is allied with the Layans or Orakians based on the symbol found on the castle entrance. This one is found in cities such as Cille, Shusoran, and Mystoke. No origin for the symbol is given in the game. It was no doubt inspired by the revered Laya of ancient times, but exactly how will remain a mystery.
