Once Anna catches sight of the criminal she is pursuing, she quickly follows him to a mountainside slope. Unfortunately, the slope is occupied by these Rock Bees. They look strong, but are not that difficult for Anna to overcome. Thankfully, their stingers are not poisonous, so they can do no real lasting damage to the heroine.

I love that game, but I'm too stupid to get very far...

This one's not too hard, once you learn the basics of how the system works. Some of the other text adventures are a lot more difficult. :(

Yeah, I guess... It was my first time playing, and it was also my first text game.

If I'm not mistaken, Anna's game had no place for unlimited healing. There were a couple of places that had food, but they didn't regenerate if you revisited them later. Also, if you made a wrong turn in the Motavian's hideout, Anna would get thrown back to the edge of the wastelands (wilderness? cliff? I can't remember...) which didn't make the game hard, but it did make it really frustrating. Anyway, the lack of ways to heal Anna meant being really careful about progressing and making sure she didn't backtrack (use the hang glider in the wrong place, and you get sent back to fight the worms again, for instance). Her game's map, however, was one of the least difficult to navigate, and it was always pretty obvious how items she picked up were meant to be used.

Hm, I guess I was lucky enough to be able to avoid accidentally backtracking when I played. I never found myself having to go through a section again like that. Some of the games definitely provide easier healing to abuse (looking at you, Rolf), but at least Anna's doesn't have any head scratchers like Rudo's waterfall.

I haven't played the text game series for long, and I can already agree.
