The fourth game in the
Phantasy Star series released, at least on physical media in Japan, was
Phantasy Star Adventure. Thanks to the lack of an easily recognizable title on the logo for the previous game, this title reverts back to the logo design introduced with
Phantasy Star II. From a story perspective, this is very fitting, as the setting is based on the society first detailed in that game. The drastic contrast in the "Adventure" part of the logo clearly marks this title as a side story, a separate thing from the main
Phantasy Star universe projects.
