Phantasy Star: Fringes of Algo

As he travels beside a river, Rudo finds himself face to face with an incredibly strong biomonster that resembles an ape. In the Phantasy Star II Text Adventures games, not all enemies can be overcome by rushing in and attacking. Some, like this one, exist as puzzles to be solved by the use of a correct item. Often, the area around the monster holds a clue to the nature of this item. For example, Rudo notices the remains of a certain type of food nearby. Fortunately, he happens to be carrying that very item. Presenting it to the ape, which attacks more out of hunger than malicious intent, will cause the creature to flee with the newly obtained snack.
