Yes, he can fly with the wings after eating Laerma Nuts and that was a parallel withy Tail in Sonic the hedgehog ! And see the Old Man in Phantasy Star IV : always wings on his back (is The OM is really Myau but I'm certain it's the same character.)

When I first showed this picture to a friend she said that Myau looks like a fennec fox. In some way fitting since you talked about my dear old friend Tails :sonic:

Anyway, I want to quote her one more time: "The picture (Myau's story which I told her at the same time) is so sweet that you get dental caries just by looking at / listining to it!"
