Phantasy Star generation:1: Sega Ages Logo

The AGES logo appears on games that are part of the SEGA AGES line of games, such as Phantasy Star generation:1. As you can probably tell easily, AGES is SEGA spelled in reverse. The AGES line is a series of budget remakes and collections released for the PlayStation 2 in Japan. The name was also used for Phantasy Star Collection (Saturn), but that release is not part of the later line. The AGES concept actually predates both, however. It appeared in early SEGA advertisements as part of slogans such as, "It takes AGES to get this good."
