Phantasy Star generation:1: Myau Portrait: Angry

Most of the character portraits used in Phantasy Star generation 1 focus on details of the subject's facial expression, without any regard to changes in posture that might convey added depth of emotion. Not so with this picture, which displays Myau's entire body shifted into a different position than his other portraits. It is clear that our feline friend is not only furious, but also ready to fly into a ferocious attack. This could easily be a prelude to one of the biting animations used with Myau's Fang weapons.

Hmmmm, believe it or not, but I don't like this picture very much. I'd rather think of Myau as the cute, affectionate one that he appears to be in so many other scenes. However, I always figured that if you made him angry, there'd be stuff to pay...he's a musk cat....just figures, lol.

I've been playing the fan translation patch for PSG:1 that came out recently. Myau has quite a temper if you give him a reason to not like you. Such as sticking him in a cage and selling him to a merchant from Mota.

One of the people wandering around Scion suggests he has a bit of a potty mouth, too.

Like Silver_Surfer, I'm not a great fan of this picture and of this angry portrait of Myau, EVEN if it's sure that Myau have a lot of reasons to become angry from time to time !
As there is a lot of foes to fight and a lot of sad things to go through...
