Phantasy Star generation:1: Hello, Kitty

During this close up, Alis is conversing with Myau the Musk Cat, whom she has just rescued from captivity in a Paseo storefront. She does not seem all that surprised to meet a talking cat, does she? It makes one wonder if Alis had heard of Musk Cats or talking animals prior to her adventure. This is our first up close look at Alis since changing into her traveling clothes and beginning her journey.

Nero's Ghost: Are you STILL going on about those?! What are you gonna do for an encore? Dye your hair purple?
Alisa: ......Why would I do that?
Myau: Hey, uh, who are you talking to, exactly?
Alisa: Oh, I'm just talking to my big brother, Nero. He's dead, so he's a bit cranky. XD
Nero's Ghost: I am not- oh, for God's-
Alisa: And I'm the pretty warrior in a not-sailor suit, Alisa Landale! XD (poses)
Nero's Ghost: .......
Myau: .......
Alisa: ..... =D

It's true that Musk Cats seemed to be numerous in Algol at Phantasy Star I period, so Alisa was surely aware of Musk Cat's talking abilities.
