Phantasy Star: Deluxe Edition: Motavian

The natives of planet Motavia are once again enemies in Phantasy Star: Deluxe Edition. As in the original game this remake is based on, the natives are very hostile toward the Palman colonists that encroach on their world. Their sharp knives can be deadly weapons, especially in groups. A new visual design makes the Motavians seem shorter than before, almost like Jawas from Star Wars. They also have a starburst symbol on their robes. Orakian castles in Phantasy Star III bear a very similar icon.

His ears really stand out in this design.

I thought that the Motavians looked a little too much like jawas in PSII. Then again, they were only in walking sprite form.

This little guy is pretty cute.

He is cute. It does remind me of Star Wars.
