Phantasy Star: Deluxe Edition: Alis

Each of the main cast members in Phantasy Star: Deluxe Edition has a portrait shown when they speak during cutscenes throughout the game. This is Alis' portrait, which first appears at the end of the opening sequence and returns several times later. As Alis swears to gain vengeance for Nero's death, the game provides this close up look at the young heroine.

She's purdy.

Agree with RW. I love the artwork from this game.

Very pretty pic of her. I think those remakes look awful though other than this. I hate the way the music was re-arranged, and alot of the character re-designs annoy me. One girl once said that in PSII, Rudo looked like a weird Duke Nukem/Arnold Schwarzenegger cross over. Can't think of a better description than that.

And don't forget Elvis! Ugh, Rudo's new look was horrible. I'm a bit biased because he's one of my favorite characters, but of all the new looks his was by far the worst. Other crapola changes include: Kain's new hair color, Anna's limp hairdo, Tyler's bizarre armor (he looked like he had tissue box shoulder pads), and Nei was... wimpy looking at best. Amy and Shir were pretty cute, and Rolf wasn't that bad. The PSI characters looked a lot better. I especially liked Myau. Odin's hair was slightly ridiculous.

But this mobile phone version of PSI has beautiful artwork. Sega really took their time doing it well.

Bumping this up again as it deserves some attention. This is a great pic of Alis and really show cases what a remake/remaster could do for this outstanding game and story!
