This knife may be the weakest weapon in Phantasy Star II, but do not mistake it for a small implement of battle. No, this blade is more along the lines of a survival knife like those popularized by the Rambo movies. The blade is likely around seven inches long, with a serrated side that might be useful for sawing. Perhaps more suited for camping than combat, the Knife would make a good tool for anyone exploring the relatively tame wilderness around Paseo. Of course, a more extreme environment would necessitate using a stronger weapon.

Ah, a unique tie in to Rambo and Phantasy Star, lol. Some Knives may not appear to be a very useful weapon, however, they can be deadly depending on how they are used. Rambo certainly made good use of his knife. Also reminds me of MacGuyer, in a way, as he always carried his trusty knife, etc.

A simple knife can be highly deadly in the right hands ! But at the beginning of the quest in Phantasy Star II, a "simple knife" can be, to anyone, a gret starting weapon

And yes the tie-in to Rambo is highly evident !
