Back in the day, game manuals included instructions on how to care for your newly acquired cartridges. Manual designers, at least those in Japan, had some fun with this by including colorful illustrations indicating what owners should not do to the games.

Phantasy Star III manual shows us the latter part of this process, as the careless prince tries to question a circuit board on the location of his bride-to-be. Of course, players should know better. Pity Rhys can't see that giant X behind him, huh?
