One very important item to stock when playing Phantasy Star III is the game's antidote, pictured here. Antidotes are used to cure the poison status effect. Instead of dealing damage over time as in most games, for this title poison prevents restoration of hit points. Running out of antidotes can make other items - like the healing Monomates - useless. Of course, there's also the Anti technique, but it can be rather unreliable. The stylized container for antidote is much different than the straight forward box of pills used in Phantasy Star IV's design artwork. Perhaps there are still pills inside this, but it might also simply be a liquid.

Oh yes ! A very important item in PS 3 ! Maybe the most important one ? The fact that the poison prevents the use of all healing "things" is very harsh..and a bit stupid ! But it's like that so we must deal with it ;)

I think the Antidote is a Liquid. Normally, in everygame that have the antidote in it, Its in liquid... I really don't thinks its a pill. Why do we have to make that thinks only to put a pill in it x)

Thats what I think ^^

Maybe it's a Vacuum-Sealed Ampoule which has to be broken from both sides to stop holding the liquid.
