In Paseo, a training hall stands near the orphanage where Rolf lived after the death of his family in a tragic accident. Students of this gym learn the art of the sword. At age eleven, Rolf is a prodigy in this field, excelling beyond the ability of older trainees. He is even able to defeat this man, the gym's instructor. The instructor was likely responsible for teach Rolf most of his early skills. Even after Rolf spends eight years training in solitude, the instructor has some unique knowledge to pass on to his former pupil - but only after a rematch!
