Phantasy Star Collection (Saturn): What's the Joke?

It looks like someone has pulled a good one on Rune Walsh here. Whatever has gotten him looking so embarrassed has also tickled Alys quite a bit.Oh and, look - there's that symbol Rune is always wearing, this time in a nice, clear picture.

This piece is one of five, each featuring two Phantasy Star IV characters. They were created for the cover of SPEC #9, the final issue of the Japan only SEGA fan club newsletter. SPEC #9 was never published, though. As such, these pieces were "lost" until being published in the Phantasy Star: Official Production Compendium.

Yeah, I have to agree with Kaloes. I've seen all five of the images in this series and what I like about this one is that you do see two of the characters in...different forms. Alys laughing and Rune looking a bit...perturbed and confused. Love his expression.

Just noticed this one again. Good to see Alys laughing as she is usually looking sad or so serious about something. Although Rune looks like he has the serious attitude here.

An image of Layla:Alys laughing ? That's not very frequent so this image is great for that ! The symbol weared by Thray:Rune is great to notice too.
