If Alis is famous for her "floating in space" poses, Myau must be equally recognized for his "jumping around" poses in artwork. This illustration is randomly placed as filler content on page #28 of the Japanese Master System instruction manual for Phantasy Star. That page details some of the map icons, such as caves, cities, and walkways. This illustration is also the only one in the manual to depicts Myau wearing the bottle of Alshline around his neck, other than the cover art.
