This stylistic piece graced the rear of Phantasy Star IV's Japan release. Rune's huge, flowing cape is the center piece that connects everyone together. Rika, or rather Fal, poses for us with that honkin' huge claw that wasn't in the game.

That huge honkin' claw seems to pop up in a LOT of art for PSIV...and PSII as well. I know it isn't in PSIV...is it in PSII at all? And if not, why is it in art all the time?

Maybe the artist has a penchant for drawing larger than life claws?

You can obtain that Claw in PSU: Ambition of the Illuminus but it apparently very hard to find as its the rarest claw in the game. Its called the Falclaw in PSU. A reference to Rika's Japanese name.

It's not in PSII that I can recall, not even in the art. This one is completely an invention of PSIV.

So, it seems to be limited to PSIV art, the PSIV TV commercial, and Ambition.

Hmmm...I could've sworn I've seen it in PSII art too somewhere, but I could very well be wrong. Should I happen to find it, I'll post something, I guess.

They're actually giving away that claw right now in PSU as part of Mission Carnival. Of course, you have to get 99 Zon-Spheres to trade to Hal for it.
