You know, I always wondered why more people in the games did not have horrible scars. After facing so many vicious monsters and merciless robots, you would think the heroes would be badly banged up. The only real scarring we see is on Lyle and Ryan, however. This piece answers the question nicely. Rhys is in bad shape - he has a black eye, various bruises, and three large claw marks running down his face. Mieu's healing touch with the Res technique is going to take all of that away. He would have never made it very far without her.
