This is the version of Nei featured in Phantasy Star Memorial Drama CD. Although she looks a lot like the original Nei from Phantasy Star II, she is actually a different character. Three years before the events of Phantasy Star IV, she wandered Motavia as a Hunter, searching for her own origins. She suffers from memory loss, but her dreams reveal a strong link to the original Nei, in the form of inherited memories. During her search, she encounters Wren, Demi, and a young Chaz.
