Phantasy Star IV Pirate Versions: Fear in Algo

Xing Zhan Qing Yuan's fifth introduction scene gives us a taste of life in Algo after the fall of Palma. But really, it is hard to make sense of this. The generic anime style woman looks like a Trill from Star Trek with all those brown spots. In the background, there are two space ships - one is an actual flying saucer. That is a decidedly non-Phantasy Star touch added by the Chinese developers.

I have to wonder why there's a flying saucer in the first place. Why add that? If they're trying to pirate the game...why add something that was never there? Makes no sense.

Other games: Skyrim Special Edition (Switch), Spyro Reignited Trilogy (Switch & PS4), Okami (Switch & PS4)
Other gaming goals: completing a Living Pokedex (minus some event Pokes) and going through at least 1 game per generation

Ha ha, maybe. But it's not like Earthbound is the only game in which there are flying saucers...and really, flying saucers appear in Mother 1/EB Zero too. So maybe they played that instead. Maybe you fight Li'l UFOs in this particular pirate version of PSIV.
