These storyboards show us a scene that was cut from the final version of
Phantasy Star IV. When the team travels to the Plate Center, part of Motavia's surviving climate control systems from 1000 years prior, Demi uses the computer system to end a series of earthquake that had been damaging a nearby town. The second scene shows Gryz expressing his fear of earthquakes, much to the dismay of Chaz. This particular event didn't occur in the game; Gryz's fear was only mentioned back in that town. In the final scene here, Gryz and Demi are both very happy to have the earthquakes finally brought to a halt. I suspect Gryz is more enthused about that than his android friend.
